Nömadak TX Live

Traveling with their txalaparta, the txalaparta band of Oreka TX reached India, Lapland, the Sahara and Mongolia to fuse their music with that of remote nomadic peoples.

The magic of this award winning documentary, Nömadak TX, came about from this fabulous journey, and a live show insued : Nömadak TX Zuzenean (Nömadak TX Live), where Oreka TX recreates the music created in the documentary and are joined by their nomadic partners on screen. The Basque Cultural Center in collaboration with the North American Basque Organizations, organized a tour of this show in the U.S. The performance at the Basque Cultural Center took place on September 23rd, 2010.
