Euskara
The Basques are indigenous to the Basque Country and their language, Euskara, is the only surviving language isolate in Europe and predates the arrival of Indo-European languages in the area (before the arrival of Celtic and Romance languages).
The North American Basque Organizations (N.A.B.O.) will have online Euskara classes for 2025:
Classes will begin the last week of January or the first week of February, depending on teachers' schedules. The semester lasts 12 weeks, with classes taking place once a week for 2 hours via Zoom. The course price is $175 for the semester, or $125 for NABO club members.
In addition to N.A.B.O.’s online course offerings, check out what our Euskal Etxeak - Basque Clubs have to offer. In-person classes are offered in Boise, Gardnerville, Homedale, and Reno.
