Historic Pala Showdown - SFBCC vs Saint-Pierre et Miquelon
Did you know the last foothold of France in North America is Saint-Pierre et Miquelon? This small archipelago off Newfoundland has an active Basque community that continues to shape its sports and local culture today. For the first time, the Saint-Pierre et Miquelon Euskal Etxea (Basque Club) paleta goma champions will challenge our very own BCC players in both women’s and men’s pala at the BCC on Wednesday, November 12th.
Join us for an afternoon of pala games starting at 5:00 PM, followed by a $40 all-inclusive dinner celebrating great plays, great company, and our vibrant community.

BCC Mus Madness!
A day of Mus, fun, and community awaits at the BCC on November 23rd! We will start the morning with coffee, muffins, and fresh fruit, then dive into tournaments, lessons, and good company.
Adult Tournament: $20 per player, starting at 9:00 AM
All are welcome! Ease into Thanksgiving week and warm up your Mus skills before the 2026 Mus tournaments! Grab a partner and join the action; prizes await for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners! Let us know if you plan to stay for the Sunday Members Lunch, please RSVP by November 19th, and we’ll save you a spot. Note: this is not an N.A.B.O. Mus Finals qualifier.
Youth Tournament: Free!
In the afternoon, bring the kids to play or learn Mus, a perfect way to keep the tradition alive.
Mus Lessons: Free for everyone!
Also in the afternoon, brush up on your skills or learn the game from scratch.
